vervet diet and treats

This site is about the vervet monkey (green monkey and grivet) also called savanna monkey (Cercopithecus aethiops), a monkey that lives mainly in the savana. They live in relative large groups and the group size seems to depend mainly on the extra food they can find. Ones a group of 174 animals was recorded. There are four subspecies of the savanna monkeys:

Green monkey (Cercopithecus aethiops)

Tantulus monkey (Cercopithecus aethiops tantalus)
Vervet (Cercopithecus aethiops pygerythus)
