Red ruffed Lemur : General information
Distribution : Forests of Madagascar (east / north-east)
Social groups : Family groups of appr. 2-5 indiviuals (breeding pair with their offspring).
Lifespan : 26 years
Length : Head + Body : 18-24 inches (45-60 cm)
Weight : 7-10 pounds (3-5kg)
Color : Thick and soft mainly red fur with black underparts and tail and white patches on the limbs.
