Lar Gibbon : General Information
Distribution : southern China, Burma, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia
Social groups : Family groups of 2 to 6 animals with one adult pair and up to four offspring. Lar gibbons are monogamous.

Color : Ranging from light buff to brown, dark brown, black or red. Hands and feet are white. Face usually gray to dark gray and may have a white face ring.
