Lar Gibbon : Diet
Lar Gibbons are frugivorous (only ripe fruit) and herbivorous (only new leaves and buds).
A varied diet is very important to avoid boredom and loss of appetite.
Fresh water every day at all times.
Give your monkey commercial primate diet supplemented with :
- fruit like mango and apple
- wellcooked meat (like chicken or turkey)
- cooked eggs
- whole-meal bread
- cheese
- nuts
- milk
- soya beans
- raw foliage
- hibiscus flowers
- vitamin supplements
