This site is about Capuchins (Cebus), also called ring-tail monkeys for their habit of curling the tip of their tail. Capuchins are very social animals and one of the most intelligent monkeys kept in captivity. They are know to use a strong smelling substance (such as onions, orange peels or stale) to rub it all over their body. On this site you will find more information about keeping capuchins in captivity.
