This site is about the Lesser bush baby, also called Senegal bush baby (Galago senegalensis), a monkey that feed at night mainly on insects which they locate by sound. Besides large ears they also have large eyes for night vision. The hind legs are used for jumping (like a kangaroo), they are longer and more powerful than the front legs. They can jump 10 to 16 feet (3 to 5 meters) in one single leap. On this site you will find more information about keeping lesser bush babies in captivity.
